Henry County Tax Sale Information

Henry County will host its annual Delinquent Property Tax Sale on Friday, November 7, 2025, at the Henry County Government Center located at 307 W Center Street, Cambridge, IL 61238. The auction will begin at 10:00 a.m. and continue until all properties are sold.

Terms of Sale:

Registration Fee: You must pay a non-refundable registration fee of $250 at the time of registration. They will apply this amount to your first $250 in purchases.

Deposit: To participate in the auction, you must make a 25% deposit on the day of the event.

Payment Methods: Make payments before leaving the building after the sale. They accept certified checks, cashier’s checks, or wire transfers.

How to Participate:

To participate, register at least 10 days before the auction date. You must sign the Single Bidder Affidavit and comply with the new ordinance based on the statute 35 ILCS 200/21-205 (b-5).

Complete the Bidder Registration Form and send it to the Henry County Treasurer’s Office at 307 W Center Street, Cambridge, IL 61238

You must be present to bid, and the county uses R.A.M.S. or R.A.M.S. 2 for electronic bidding.
