Levy County Tax Sale Information

Levy County will host its annual Delinquent Property Tax Sale on January 13, 2025, at 310 School St, Bronson, FL 32621. No pre-registration is required. Bidding will commence at 10:00 AM Eastern Standard Time (EST).

Terms of Sale

Bidding Procedure: Raise-your-hand type bidding with a minimum increment of $50.

Deposit Requirements: A non-refundable deposit of $200 or 5% of the winning bid (whichever is greater) is due immediately after the sale.

Full Payment Deadline: The remaining balance must be paid within 24 hours of the sale’s advertised time. Acceptable payment methods include cash or cashier’s checks.

Redemption Period: Property owners may redeem their property up until the high bidder completes the final payment.

If no one bids on a property, the county places its tax certificates on a “Lands Available for Taxes” list. After 90 days, these properties become available for purchase through the Tax Collector’s Office.

Registration: You don’t need to register to participate.

In-Person Bidding: Attend the sale at 310 School St, Bronson, FL 32621, and bid in person.
