Skagit County Tax Sale Information

The Skagit County Tax Foreclosure Auction presents an opportunity to purchase tax-foreclosed properties online. Hosted by the Skagit County Treasurer’s Office, the auction allows bidders to resolve unpaid taxes by acquiring delinquent properties. The auction will be conducted via Public Surplus.

Time: Starting at 9:00 AM

Terms of Sale

Deposit: Bidders must submit a refundable deposit to participate in the auction.

Full Payment: Winning bidders must complete full payment within five business days via wire transfer or another accepted method. Failure to do so will result in forfeiting the property and deposit.

No Refunds: All properties are sold “as-is,” and no refunds will be issued. We strongly encourage bidders to research the properties, as sales are final.

Title Issues: The county will clear tax liens upon full payment. However, buyers remain responsible for any other potential title issues or encumbrances like zoning violations or other liens that may not be related to taxes.
