Terms of Sale:

Sale Format: The auction is conducted online, and all properties are sold on an “as is, where is” basis with no warranties. Successful bidders will receive a Treasurer’s Tax Deed, but Chelan County offers no guarantees on the property title, condition, or suitability for any use.

Redemption Rights: In Washington, properties sold in tax foreclosure auctions generally have no redemption rights, except for IRS liens and some rights for minors or legally incompetent individuals.

Buyer Responsibility: Buyers must conduct all due diligence regarding title, location, liens, encumbrances, and property condition. Chelan County is not responsible for the physical inspection, title research, or potential restrictions on the property.

Bidder Deposit and Buyer’s Premium: They require a $500 bid deposit to participate, payable by bank wire transfer to Public Surplus by 4:00 p.m. on December 2, 2024. A 5% buyer’s premium will be added to each winning bid amount.
