Warren County Tax Sale Information

Warren County will host its next Foreclosure and Delinquent Property Tax Sale on Monday, December 16, 2024, starting at 8:30 AM ET. Conducted online through the Warren County Sheriff Sale Auction Website, this sale presents a selection of properties with outstanding taxes or foreclosure liens. All interested bidders must pre-register on the Warren County RealAuction platform before the sale date.

Terms of Sale:

Deposit Requirements:

  • $2,000 for properties appraised at $10,000 or less.
  • $5,000 for properties between $10,001 and $200,000.
  • $10,000 for properties appraised over $200,000.
  • Deposits are only accepted via ACH or bank wire transfer and must be received before the sale date:
    • ACH Transfers: Initiate by 4 PM ET, five business days before the auction.
    • Wire Transfers: Must be received by 5 PM ET, two business days prior.

Bidding Process:

Auctions will begin seven days before the sale for initial proxy bidding. Each property is auctioned individually.

Judgment Creditors do not need to make a deposit, but they must register and provide proof of their court order at least one business day before the sale.

Final Payment: The full balance is due within 30 days from the date of sale confirmation by the court. Unpaid balances within this time may result in forfeiture of the deposit and further penalties.
