Cumberland County will host its Delinquent Property Tax Foreclosure Auction on January 9, 2025, at the Cumberland County Courthouse, 117 Dick St, Fayetteville, NC 28301. Registration begins prior to the sale, with bidding starting promptly at 12:00 PM.

Terms of Sale:

A deposit of 20% or $750.00, whichever is greater, is required immediately after the highest bid is determined. Only certified funds or exact cash will be accepted.

Sellers offer properties in their current condition without any warranties or guarantees.

A 10-day upset bid period follows the auction. Bids during this period must exceed the current bid by 5% or a minimum of $750.00.

You can submit upset bids in person at the Clerk of Court’s Office during regular business hours.
