Terms of Sale

Property Sold “As-Is”: All properties are sold without warranties regarding title, habitability, or any other matter. Buyers are advised to perform thorough research prior to bidding.

Outstanding Liens and Taxes: Properties are sold subject to all outstanding city and county taxes and local improvement assessments not included in the judgment.

Deposit Requirement: Buyers must pay a 20% cash deposit of the successful bid amount at the time of sale.

Additional Costs: The successful bidder pays recording fees and revenue stamps when the Jones County Register of Deeds records the deed.

Upset Bids: The sale is subject to the upset bid process as outlined in N.C.G.S. Section 1-339.25.
