Garland County will host its annual Tax Delinquent Property Sale on July 31, 2025, at the Hot Springs Convention Center, located at Rooms 104-105, 134 Convention Boulevard, Hot Springs. Registration begins at 9:30 AM, with the auction starting promptly at 10:00 AM.

Terms of Sale:

No Cash Payments: The Commissioner of State Lands does not accept cash payments at this auction. Buyers must pay by personal/business check, credit or debit card, or cashier’s check.

Full Payment Due Immediately: You must pay the full purchase price immediately after the auction. Buyers should come prepared with the required funds.

Deed Issuance: After making the payment, the Commissioner of State Lands will issue a Limited Warranty Deed to the successful bidder.

Special Notice for Hot Springs Village Purchases:

Buyers purchasing unimproved lots in Hot Springs Village should note that unpaid debts of previous owners will not be their responsibility. However, successful bidders for properties in Hot Springs Village will be required to pay:

$300 one-time buy-in fee for the first property purchased
$150 transfer fee for each property purchased
$50.42 ongoing monthly assessment fee per property

Failure to pay the assessment fees may result in the Hot Springs Village Property Owners Association filing a claim of lien against the property.

How to Participate:

Registration begins at 9:30 AM at the Hot Springs Convention Center, with a valid ID required for registration.

Bidding: They will sell the auction parcels in the order listed in the auction catalog. Minimum bids will be based on the delinquent taxes, penalties, interest, fees, and costs associated with each parcel.

Payment: Successful bidders must make full payment for the parcels immediately following their successful bids. The Commissioner does not accept cash; payment must be made via check, credit card, or cashier’s check.
