Hardeman County, Tennessee will host its Tax Deed Sale on March 12, 2026, through an online auction conducted by the Hardeman County Clerk & Master using the GovEase platform. Registration runs from February 17, 2026 at 9:30 AM (ET) through March 11, 2026 at 5:30 PM (ET). Pre-bidding opens on March 11, 2026 at 9:30 AM (ET), and the live auction begins on March 12, 2026 at 11:00 AM (ET).

Terms of Sale:

Hardeman County conducts this event as a tax deed sale under Tennessee law. Winning bidders must submit full payment by March 13, 2026 at 5:30 PM (ET) via Domestic Wire Transfer only. GovEasedoes not accept other payment methods for this sale.

A deed recording fee will be added to the final total after the auction concludes. Bidders must wait for an official email confirming that all fees have been added before submitting the wire transfer. Sending payment early may delay processing.

The bank letter required for registration must show a date within 30 days of the auction date. GovEasewill not approve outdated bank letters.

Refunds, when applicable, will process within 7 to 10 business days after the sale fully concludes. GovEasewill return funds according to the information submitted in the Wire Return Confirmation document during registration.

Sub-accounts are not allowed for this auction. Each bidder must complete their own registration and approval.

Create an account on GovEaseand complete all required forms in the registration portal. Upload and e-sign every required document listed in the forms and documents section. GovEase will review each submission and approve qualified bidders before the auction.

After approval, bidders may begin placing pre-bids starting March 11, 2026. On auction day, properties will close based on the platform’s timed bidding system.
