Hunt County will hold its Tax Foreclosure Property Sale on First Tuesday of the month, on the 2nd Floor of the Hunt County Courthouse, located at 2507 Lee St, Greenville, TX 75401. The auction will begin at 10:00 a.m., and registration requirements must be fulfilled in advance.

Terms of Sale:

Sale Format: The Hunt County Tax Foreclosure Sale is conducted by the Sheriff or Constable. They sell the Properties “as is,” “where is,” with no warranty. Winning bidders will receive a Sheriff or Constable’s deed, but it does not include any warranty on title or property condition.

Buyer Responsibility: Bidders are responsible for their own title and property condition research, including any encroachments, liens, or property improvements. Hunt County provides no guarantees on the title or condition of any property.

Payment Requirements: The full winning bid amount must be paid on the day of the sale with a Cashier’s Check payable to “Hunt County Constable PCT 1.” No other payment forms will be accepted. Payments should be submitted at the Constable’s Office located at 2801 Stuart St, Greenville, TX.

Certification Requirement: As per Texas Property Tax Code Section 34.011, Hunt County requires all bidders to obtain a Certification of No Taxes Due in Hunt County. Contact the Hunt County Tax Office at (903) 408-4000 for certification details.
