San Diego County Tax Sale Information

San Diego County will host its annual Delinquent Property Tax Sale from March 13 to March 19, 2025, as an online auction through Grant Street Group at sdttc.mytaxsale.com. Registration is required in advance, with bidding starting at 8:00 AM PT on March 13, 2025.

Terms of Sale

All properties are sold as-is with no warranties or guarantees.

The minimum bid includes delinquent taxes, penalties, interest, and auction costs.

Buyers are responsible for researching liens, encumbrances, or other outstanding obligations on the property.

Winning bidders must submit full payment by March 25, 2025, at 5:00 PM PT.

The law requires the highest bidder to complete the purchase. Failure to pay results in forfeiture of the deposit.

How to Participate

Register as a Bidder at sdttc.mytaxsale.com by March 5, 2025.

Submit an Advance Deposit: Standard properties: $1,000 deposit + $35 non-refundable bid deposit processing fee.

Review Auction Rules and complete due diligence on selected properties.

Place Bids starting March 13, 2025, at 8:00 AM PT.

Winning bidders must complete payment by March 25, 2025, at 5:00 PM PT.

The county will record and mail the deeds within 4-6 weeks after receiving payment.
