Angelina County will hold its Delinquent Property Tax Sale on First Tuesday of the Month, at 10:00 a.m. The auction will take place on the Angelina County Courthouse steps at a location designated by the commissioners’ court.

Terms of Sale

Properties are sold as-is, where-is, with no warranties.

Winning bidders receive a Sheriff or Constable’s deed, which does not guarantee a clear title.

Bidders should research property title, location, encumbrances, and improvements before bidding.

Additional taxes, liens, or maintenance fees may be owed beyond the minimum bid amount.

Properties may be subject to demolition liens, mowing fees, or other municipal charges.

If a property is five acres or less, it may not qualify for residential use if it lacks water or wastewater service.

How to Participate

Attend the auction in person on First Tuesday of the Month.

Research the listed properties thoroughly before bidding.

All sales are final, and you cannot receive a refund once you place a bid.

You must make the payment as required under county rules.

Buyers are responsible for post-judgment taxes.
