Parker County Tax Sale Information

Parker County will conduct its upcoming Delinquent Property Tax Sale on First Tuesday of the month, at the South Door of the District Court Building, 117 Fort Worth Highway, Weatherford, Texas. The sale starts at 10:00 AM, with bidder registration available before the auction.

Terms of Sale

All properties are sold as-is without any warranty.

Winning bidders must pay by cash, cashier’s check, or money order by 4:00 PM on the same day—no exceptions.

The sale includes delinquent tax properties and judgment sales. Minimum bids cover all taxes owed at the time of judgment, but additional taxes may be due.

Properties may have liens and could be subject to future taxes that the buyer is responsible for.

Buyers receive a Constable’s Deed without warranty. Title insurance may be difficult to obtain.

Redemption Period

Properties classified as homestead, mineral interest, or agricultural land have a 2-year redemption period.

All other properties have a 6-month redemption period.

If the property is redeemed in the first year, the buyer receives the purchase price plus up to 25% in additional fees. If redeemed in the second year, the amount increases to 50%.

How to Participate

Bidders must register before the sale with the officer conducting the auction.

Research is encouraged before bidding, including verifying title status through Parker Appraisal District Data Search at www.parkercad.com.

Bidders must be present to bid—no online, phone, or proxy bids are accepted.
